The more mathematically inclined among you may notice that the Valiant does well at cracking hulls and absolutely sucks at shieldbusting, and this is a fork in the road. Every five volleys you can add a guaranteed 20,000-15,000 damage to your volley from the Shiva, albeit it's good to launch this a second or two after the main barrage to screen it. It costs 510,000 credits and requires 305,000 XP gained with the Artemis-class Battlecruiser. The Valiant-class Super Heavy Cruiser is a tier IV UNSC Super Heavy Cruiser.
